Freefall festival

Every year, during the Queensday festivals in Arnhem at and around the Gele Rijdersplein/AKU fontein in the center of Arnhem, Freefall festival is organized. The name and subtitle “FreeFall Festival; dance-pop-art-culture” explains in a few words were the festival stands for. FreeFal started in 2008 as a small podium for electronic dance music and grow into a cultural festival on itself in between the Queensday festivals in Arnhem.

In 2013 FreeFall festival used 9 generators and 2.200 liter fuel was used. After applying the smart powerplan of ZAP Concepts, in 2014 only 5 gensets were used and the fuel usage was brought back to 1.148 liter. That is a reduction of almost 50%.
